To celebrate St Patrick’s Day 2022, we are proposing to host an old school Irish style ‘House Party’!

When: Saturday 19 March at 9pm Irish Time – (5pm New York time; 8am Sunday Sydney time)

Where: Zoom

Using Zoom technology to build on the success of the Clan Gathering held late last year – as the next best thing to meeting up in person. The party will last for approximately two hours, commencing at 9pm Irish time on the Saturday evening. The ‘House party’ will be a purely social event with no set/formal structure of presentations, speeches etc, and in between chatting and catching up it will be based on the old Irish tradition of the ‘Noble Call’ as we are seeking participants to perform their party piece, e.g. recite a poem, sing a song, dance a jig, play a reel, tell a tall tale, joke or yarn, share a Fitzpatrick memory etc. You can choose to pre-record your contribution, or to perform it on the hoof at the party – your choice.
